Spring is right around the corner!
Here's the link for the Hemi bruiser I was looking at https://youtu.be/-JsXwlclGwk
Biggest problem I can see is getting the rear tires to stick and some stiff springs up front.
I love junk yard dogs!
5" straight exhaust out the back is going to sound better than those coffee can extentions!
Honda Civics BEWARE!

I'm going to the scrap yard and see if I can prove you wrong......lol
Progress......

We stripped the car and killed the fire wall. I decided to cut the Jag suspension off and run the frame rails above the floor to lower the car. I figure it will drop another 4 inches when the engine hits the front suspension. I am going to make a custom fire wall for it and put in air bags for the rear end. It should look old school.
I get "More In" with every post of pics...
Do you need a shop gopher?

I have a guy that I pay to help me but he is on welfare so he has to feel like helping me when I call. I really wish I had some better help...... Looks like this project will be all MY doing but if your in the Akron, OH area feel free to stop by!
Did some boring stuff today. Hoping to have the engine in soon to see what she will look like. Got the frame braced in with the front of the body and will be bracing in the frame rails inside the body soon. Hoping to drive it this summer.....hoping.
Mocked up the engine today. Will be doing some serious front end work so I can get the rear suspension done before my "big week" where I plan to have it running and driving.
Sweet, just a couple more parts...
My old man owns a auto wrecking yard so over the years I've got to play this game a time or two. We stretched out a lawn mower and put a chev 350 into it one time, you couldn't give it any throttle or your tear it apart but it was still funny as hell. Right now the old man is working on a 1956 chev truck, chopped roof and he is putting a 6.0 from a 2006 3/4 tonne into it.

Here a couple pics of the 26 Essex and the 46.

Essex is a 350, ford 9" rear and old vette front clip. The 46 is the original power train in her and such a sweet sweet ride!
