I have the Cummins insite I been using for 2011 prostar with Cummins.

Been working fine with 2011 year. But I been looking to buy 2012 cascadia with Cummins that has def. I have hooked up the cable and insite won't read the ecm keeps saying ecm not connected. Cables plug in fine. Not sure what's going on.

make sure your selecting the J1939 protocol. Insite 7.6 and newer should work fine.
