The manual says 25,000 miles for fuel interval on fleetguard fuel filter fl5776. Should you go 25k or what are you guys changing them at? I change my oil at 12-13,000...

I do the same as you,It's only a filter they say not to grease for the same. I grease 4-5000 miles.

So far I am happy I switched from the factory specified 50 micron Davco filter to a 10 micron filter. Check them every day as part of PTI

Which filter did you switch to?

What about the other fuel filter that mounts on the side of the block? What mileage are you guys changing those at? And what brand do you guys recommend?

At work we change them every other oil change, which is about 1,000 hours or so. Since these trucks are "severe service".
We use either the Fleetguard FF5776 or the Donaldson P555776.

I change the primary fuel filter on the side of the engine at every oil change.
