I finally bought the proper coolant pressure test kit for my ProStar. This kit is nearly identical to the Snap On set, which is more than likely made by Stant.

I went through several of the universal kits, they worked half ass and I returned them.

Here is what I found that works as advertised.

Stant 12270 30 Pound Cooling System And Pressure Cap Tester

Stant 12026 Radiator Adapter for testing GM and Ford Vehicles (Fits ProStar bottle)

I have no need for a kit to use on twenty different manufacturers vehicles, just this truck. This did the job, just found a leak. The tester comes in a blow molded case and has enough room to hold the adapter. Very Happy!

Dam, I was figuring I'd buy this but the adapters says they won't work for the mercury. I'll do some digging thanks for the link.
No sweat, I went through hell trying to find something that would work without failing after the first use. That Stant hand pump and Stant/Snap-On adapter did the trick. eBay is a good place to find the Snap-On adapters for a decent price if you can't find a Stant. My money says Stant makes these for Snap-On.

I'll look into it tomorrow, a bit deep into a case of beer right now, haha. Thanks!
Guys, I bought the 12026 Radiator Adapter and Pump. It does not fit the coolant bottle in my 2011 Prostar... the threads are incorrect. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
I went to the internet.... everything I found pointed to that adapter so I tried again, It's extremely tight and kept wanting to cross thread but I got it! Thanks Again!
