Have you used a good PTC Push-To-Connect hose removal tool? The fittings between the transmission and frame are very difficult to get 2 hands up on.

Unilevers

I used a set of those. ... I can tell you this...

I had a 3/8 air line quick connect that I had squeezed the ring closed hard using a pair of large pliers like I always do and the hose was just stuck in the connector. It would not come out after pulling and twisting the hose,... it was buggered up in the connector pretty good. I thought to myself that there is no way those pliers are going to get it out, I can't even get it out with a pliers and squeesing the connector 10 different ways... Boy did it make a lier out of me.

I grabbed the smallest pair from the set and stuck it on the hose and fitting,.. and squeezed the handle on them, and the fitting jumped out of there so easily it was not even funny.

Needless to say, I have ordered my own set of these pliers.
Found them on Amazon, they all look to be the same kits with different names... Around $150.00

I'll put these on my list!
