Ok, so I ended up pulling injectors 1,2,&3 again today...don’t ask why....re-lubed them and re-torqued. I had placed new O rings on the injector and fuel connector the first time, but since I had to break the torque and pull them again, do I have to replace the Orings again?? They still looked fine and the motor hasn’t ran.. what do you guys think?? order new O rings and replace?? Or they should be fine since the motor hasn’t ran since the original replacement yesterday??
You will not have an issue by reusing them. Relube them well and reinstall. Dont mix the injectors and fuel connectors up as it can result in a fuel leak afterwards.. Make sure they stay together. Happy wrenching.
Starlight, thanks so much for the reply!! I was hoping that would be the case!
All those o-rings do is keep return fuel and any high pressure leaks inside the return circuit.
Is replacing injectors on cm2250 really hard to Do? Any tips? Is it the same as a 871? I would like to learn how to change my own injectors and keep running to mechanic for everything. Doing my own over head soon, seen rawze's video doesn't seem hard...
2250/2350 and 870/871 are different.
Open quickserve and read . It’s free .
Jimeneztrans84: it is not difficult. Probably easier then the 871, just different. Simon999 on the forum posted me a link to a YouTube video he made when he was doing a valve guide seal replacement on his 2350, (same procedure as our 2250’s). Private msg him and ask for the link it will show you what you are in for.
