Hey guys we had a crank break In a truck it's a 2012 isx cm2250. My boss located a complete 2016 isx cm2350 and we are wondering if it's possible to drop it in or is there to many differences.
Thanks Curtis
The emissions system wiring and control circuits are quite different.

I have seen a few guys take 2350 engines and put on all 2250 wiring + 2250 ECM. The ECM needs custom programming for it to work correctly like that. The 2350 has higher compression ratio, different injector designs and spray, different boost requirements, and a few other things that require compensation for it to run right.

- I have had to straighten out a few for people that a couple dealerships have sent to me because they just would not run quite right. Apparently there are some OEM shops out there using 2350 blocks to replace 2250 engines.
Awesome thanks alot for the reply Rawze
