I have an extra ecm 2005 435st out of a international. is there any reason it would not work on my 2005 Volvo? I'm swapping out the motor and would like to put a good program in the extra ecm. rite now it wont rev up over 1400 rpms.

Volvo has J1939/J1708 multiplexing but it shouldn't be too hard to set up

if you have insite do work order and convert to image to save info. As far as the 1400 insite can change that easy to with out programming ....You will need to know what engine CPL you are putting in that way you know which cal you need .
