My parking brake isn’t stopping the truck from moving. It usually doesn’t move and if I try to move it with the parking brake engaged it would give me a warning light. What are some symptoms of the parking braking not working properly? It’s a Volvo VNL 670 2013
worn out brakes,... slacks not adjusted properly, air not being bled off properly, etc.
Check the brakes, the slack adjusters and the brake chambers. If you find one bad brake chamber replace both sides when you do, or like I eventually did, all of them, along slack adjusters and the brake air lines.
I had the same issue on my ProStar, only replaced the one bad chamber, well the other one blew with Rawze in the truck test driving the freshly inframed motor. Took out four tires and my knee. It was not a good experience.
