For those of you that use these, where did you mount your antenna? I have a 2016 Cascadia with, what appears to be, a plastic cab. Would the antenna work if it was installed at the top of one of the cabinets?

Most of the cell phone antennas need a ferrous metal ground plane to work correctly or they have metal legs that stick out parallel to the ground and dont require being mounted to ferrous metal.
Would they work, yes, highest signal, maybe not. Most people mount them to the side mirror mounts.
