Here's a little hack. :blush:
I searched the Internets all over for a canister to hold a single, opened tube of grease. For years, I've been using discarded zip tie tube for this. It keeps the inside of my outbox clean. I thought for sure there must be an inexpensive, ready-made solution but if there is, wherever it is, I couldn't find it.
Next, I thought about making something out of PVC pipe. But 2 inch pipe was too small and 3 inch pipe was just too big. I think 2 1/2 inch pipe would have been great, but neither Home Depot or Lowes had it locally.
Then it came to me. What about a spaghetti keeper?
Well, here it is.
