I've been chasing my shitty fuel mileage now for several months...recently getting this code every time I'm pulling hard, or high on the boost. Also, get temps up around 700~750 when heavy pulling long hill. Got as far as pressure checking CAC. had to order a pipe tap to make my homemade pressure tester...but from the looks of it I'd say its original. When code pops up boost fluctuates between 20psi and about 34psi and the engines derates...

Dealer is al already trying to sell me the fleetr**te brand of cac as compared to the oem(800 for aftermarket or 1000.00 for oem) dont want to drop $$$ on it if it's not leaking....but 6.1mpg is BS for a daycab...

What are those pictures of? If that's your CAC why are all the fins bent over? Air could never pass through that thing. Am I seeing those pics right??
