I have a cm 870 that has egr delete nothing else done what needs to be done to the ecm or anything else .
Is egr cooler still on the truck.
Did you remove the EGR valve or just weld it shut? Did you block off the EGR pipe at the intake?
You NEED to PM Unilevers or Mommaburt to have them look at the ECM. You will need a laptop and a Cummins Inline 5 or 6 to do this. If you just blocked off the EGR and nothing else, you'll want to undo that and run the truck with all the emissions working till you have your ECM programmed properly to run without EGR. This is not a simple copy paste deal with a CM870. It needs to be done correctly. Once the ECM is programmed, you are free to do whatever you wish in terms of blocking and or removing the emissions. If this engine is not off road purpose, its strongly recommend trying to keep everything looking as if it's all there and functional. That means proper heavy duty blocking plates and clipping wire connections so they don't appear to be disconnected and get corrosion on them. As far as exact instructions, no one here is gonna give you them. Though you can search the forum and piece together what all you should do.
