I would have told him to not put the scissor gear back on, put the normal one on. Much less problems and lasts longer.
Idk what they ordered for Monday but I told him to put on updated gear whether he listens is his problem most of this info isn't put out by Cummins it seems so mechanics don't order redesigns they just order the part they take off.
