Mine was like that too, took almost 70,000 miles and a few trips out West through the mountains. Now a nice honey brown.

Not 2 plugs on each side if the pan. 2 plugs with 1 on the front and one on the upper back. That upper plug can hold about a half a gallon of dirty oil.

The amsoil system was installed long before the demandate was done. I'm thinking this would help the oil staying much cleaner.
