I recently had the DPF filter cleaned on my 2009 KW T660. Occasionally we get a check engine light coming on-it stays on no more than an hour-than the DPF filter light will come on and the engine light goes off. The DPF filter light stays on anywhere from a few seconds up to 40 minutes. Nothing happens to the truck when the lights come on -there is no derate in the motor.
We coded the motor and it came up 2637-fault states "Catalyst Face Plugged-Root unknown". So I think it needs to be a stationary regen but it won't go into regen.

could this just be a faulty sensor or something else???

This is a remanned ISX motor with 345,000 miles on it
My suggestion --{**Content removed by protection bot**- content.} can not be more happy.

PM Gearhead, Rawze or Unilevers with your phone number that is what I did.
Thanks for the advise
Could you explain {**Content removed by protection bot**- content.}?
What is {**Content removed by protection bot**- content.}

The regen switch in the dash will not allow for a regen unless the engine thinks it needs one.

What DPF filter light comes on?

What are the other codes comming up with the face-plug alarm?

has anyone actually pulled off the DPF and DOC and inspected them to see if they are indeed face plugged again?

How many miles are on the truck, and does it consume any oil or coolant?

Here is where I would start if I owned it ...

The regen switch in the dash will not allow for a regen unless the engine thinks it needs one. we tried manual regen and it refused

What DPF filter light comes on? that it needs to regen but it won't go into manual regen

What are the other codes comming up with the face-plug alarm? code 2637 comes up and that shows it is Catalyst face plugged-root unknown
also code 3251 and 3936

has anyone actually pulled off the DPF and DOC and inspected them to see if they are indeed face plugged again?not since it was done on April 25th, 2016 when we had it cleaned -they said it was not very dirty at all. when they weighed it the weight was at 1.5 and when they put it back in it was at 0.5

How many miles are on the truck, and does it consume any oil or coolant? truck is 1,276,093 miles--remanned motor is 345,000. no on oil -lose about 1/2 gallon every 3 to 4 months of coolant.

Start with a thorough EGR tune-up and if the EGR valve has never been changed, it is likely due after a million on the truck.

Also look for exhaust manifold and/or gasket leaks in the CAC and/or exhaust.
