I couldnt find a tread on this but i have a question.. does any one have info on putting a oil catch can? Will this help the engine and the soot ?

Theres no info on it cause you don't need one. The motor comes with one already installed it's called the crankcase filter. And no they don't do anything for soot.

Cummins already has a better system than a catch can, check this out
