Got a 2015 ProStar that blows cold air when idleing but blows hot air when going down the road. Also can’t seem to locate the thermisters on the truck.

RE: A/C Cooling Issue
The truck makers, they know the A/C systems are going to be a money maker for them. They are designed to do nothing but act up and run like a P.O.S. all the time. - They are designed to be nothing but problematic in these newer trucks.

-- I got totally sick of it a long time ago on my own truck and solved it.

I no longer suffer Air conditioning issues. I solved all of my trucks A/C problems with an Arduino ... Works like a charm.

Here is some more info related to the A/C and a link to that arduino project that I did as well ... http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...7#pid14467
Thanks but I don’t know what an arduino is

it's a little circuit board you can program commands into using a C++ program.
replacing the thermisters is likely the fix.

post an overview pic of the passenger side of your truck up by the firewall where the big black plastic A/C box is. That is where the thermisters will likely be.
here are where mine are located...

A person needs to bleed the system to zero before attempting to remove them.
Im prty sure thermisters were eliminated on the 15s

i thoguht they were just sealed up and covered over with heat shrink tubing on the newer ones ... but i may be wrong.

(why i requested a couple pics of what they actually have).
Id send some pics but my truck aint here. Driver should have it this way next week to rpl the compressor and filter dryer.
