I just bought my first isx truck. It’s an 2010 kenworth cm871 pre def motor. I have been researching and learning as much as I can about these engines on this forum and through rawze’s videos. Does any have any suggestions as far as what should be done to an engine like this with no service history. I was wanting to start with the egr cleaning videos. Just looking for other suggestions as well or upgrades/ updates people recommend. Thanks in advance and this forum is amazing. No bull just good people helping, it’s definitely a great resource!

How many miles? Gearing? Transmission and rear ends? EGR Tuneup BIG YES. Do that first... Any issues or codes, and is it deleted?

It’s a dump truck so a little different specs than most of you guys run but it’s 364k miles, 8ll trans with 4.10 gears. One code of outside air temp sensor but so far nothing else. It’s not deleted or mandate’d yet.
