Which one is riding better? Currently on AG 380 , does AG 400L softer or harder?
Thanks
I don't think the AG 400 system is going to ride better than the AG380. AG 380 is the same as the Peterbilt flex air which I have on my rig and its the smoothest I have ever driven personally. I wouldn't want to deal with an AG 400 8 bag system either. But it really depends on what you are using it for. The 380 system is lighter spec'd than other configurations but it handles my 140000lb B trains through the field during harvest no problem. For on highway AG 380 is hard to beat. Definitely want to have diff locks if using it off-road though. The 8 bag system will provide better and more consistent tire contact in off-road conditions and has a slightly higher ride height. Again it all depends what your doing with it.

A Detailed brochure of both systems right from Kenworth:

AG-380-Flex Air is bullet proof. 104,000 on five axles and it has never let me down.

Your right, my mistake.
I've driven mostly low air leaf set ups. The nice thing about low air leaf is that there are less wear parts and bushings than flex air and it still provides a little more consistent tire contact in off-road situations. Still rides good but not as nice as the flex air IMHO.

Tire size will affect your ride as well, low pro rubber is going to make the ride a little firmer.
