Took everything apart to do an EGR tuneup and found what looks like coolant in the intake manifold.What could cause this issue? TIA.

Nope. Had it on one of my trucks that had never had a drop of green coolant in it. If i remember right it was in the intake of a brand new 2350 crate motor.

if your referring to the green tint ... that is the color they are painted before cummins paints them red on the outside.

ok,thanks.I was beginning to freak out lol.
Yup just an anti corrosion covering. All oem cm870 intakes have this color inside them.
