I have a vibration at idle, high, idle and going down the road that started a few weeks ago. What can cause a new vibration on an a ISX?
I had one and turned out to be the fuel metering and timing solenoid for the front cylinder bank.

How do I diagnose that?
how old is the crank shaft damper? ... and is it an aftermarket one?

Also couold be what was mentioned above...

FIRST, adjust the overhead valves including setting the injector rockers properly, according to cummins specifications to prevent a false positive.

NEXT: do an injector leak test, then followed by cut-out tests too...

part2: Part 2

Part 3: Part 3

and the cut-out tests...

Over 500k.I’m going to get one once I get back to San Antonio.I did the overhead set a couple of months ago along with a leak test and I got bubbles on the rear three but couldn’t pinpoint which one it was.
I did Rawze’s video and then performed a leakage test on the injectors via insite. I even swapped the solenoids around and found out it was both the metering and timing solenoid for the front bank. Parts should be in Monday. $1700 later
