I have an ISX15 2350 x101 that I just bought a few months ago. I ordered a coolant filter and went to change it but can't find one on the engine at all?
My 2250 has one but did some of the 2350s not come with them?
No not all came with one.

Ok thanks. Thought maybe the previous owner capped it off or something.
If it doesn't have one, is there something a guy should add to the coolant tank once in awhile or just using Extended Life coolant good enough?

use the proper mix of ELC red .. check it once a year with test strips.. replace the coolant every 400k miles (or equivalent engine hours) or if it gets contaminated.
