Truck was fine. Sitting at a customer and tried to restart. Just cranks. Getting low fuel pressure code. Suspect lift pump. The sound was weird and has gotten worse. No fuel at the compucheck fitting by the gear pump. I changed the primary screw on filter. It had black crud in it, but not enough to plug it completely. (I am treating my tanks for asphaltine)
Could that cause it to lose all fuel pressure? The pump is six years old. A new one is 3-4 days out.
Thanks. CM871

Also: would you use a PAI pump? I can have that tomorrow.
How many psi is it showing for fuel pressure during cranking.

and yeah, no pressure at the check port(s) while the electric pump is running means there is a bad electric pump, a restriction somewhere, or maybe its sucking too much air.
