Full Version: Wetness on two blades of turbo exhaust side

[attachment=8442][attachment=8443]Looking in the exhaust side of turbo, there are two blades that are a little oily. Engine is cold after sitting all night. Pictures are using a mirror to look in the exhaust side. Turbo has almost 700k on it. Not sure if it’s a concern or not. Or maybe an early warning.
Could be condensation, could be valve guide seepage, could be a bit of anything. Likely should not be of concern unless the engine is acting up in some way.

700k on the turbo, if the actuator has not been rebuilt in that many miles, maybe tear it down and freshen it up like described in my turbo actuator rebuild video series ...
