Hey guys. Trying to check the fault codes. I installed insite that was "gifted" to me through a generous person lol. I was given an inline 6 adapter my friend no longer had use for. I went to the wizard window to connect to ecm and it won't pop up. Usb light won't stay lit. The inline adapter didn't come with a software cd. Should it have? I saw the new ones come with it. Is the software cd mandatory to put in to install inline drivers?
Just generalizing here...
* The inline adapter drivers need to be installed onto the PC.
* The Insite software needs to be configured to use the adapter after the drivers are installed.
Shoot me a pm with some contact info and ill get it working.... As long as the adapter is good
My old Inline 5 just bit the dust so I finally upgraded to an Inline 6. Came here looking for help as it had me stumped.
Got it figured though. New USB cable was bad, so using the old cable it is!
Just thought I'd post this in case someone else has a similar problem some day.
