Hello.2003 International 9900I with and 04’ cm870.Truck cranked over more than normal and then that fault code popped up.What could it be?
You will most likely need to see what the actual fault code is in Insite to know exactly what it is.

also... Is the ecm as old as the truck?.

I don’t think so.It shows as a Cummins Reman on the sticker. How can I find out the year on it?
An old NEXIQ (2008) Fault code guide I have calls this out as "Unswitched Battery Supply Circuit - Low Voltage" so maybe a bad connection between battery and ECM? Insite would be best. On age call the S/N on the sticker into Cummins and they should be able to break it down and also tell you if it was with or without the ECM.

I suspected that.. and that is why I mentioned the age of the ecm.

could also be loose battery connections, power spike while cranking. low batteries, poor grounding, etc. too.
