Volvo 780 with Cummins ISX - Blake - 01-24-2018
Anyone drive a Volvo 780. I came across a 2012 with Cummins ISX motor with 430,000. They're asking 41,000.00. Only thing I've heard about Volvo is they're one of the best riding truck, but maintenance is expensive.

If you like the interior a LOT, then the slight fuel mileage losses are are only significant if you drive them hard or start turning up the HP above about 450 - 475 or so. They do really well on fuel at about 63 mph or so when set right.
Intake and other engine restrictions on a truck only apply if you are pushing against them.

Rawze, I really like the interior. I don't run any vehicle hard. I understand that I have to take care of my equipment no matter what anyone else may say. I would like my truck to be governed at 70 and have a Variable Turbo.

I would hope your not driving your truck at 70 all the time.

Noo I'm still shopping for purchasing my first. I would just like my truck to be governed at 70. I've been looking at the Prostar, T680, and the Volvo 780, all with Cummins ISX Motors. I like the Volvo interior the best.

What I can't find used is the Volvo 780, Cummins motor and I-Shift.. I like the Volvo but what concerns me is I mainly find the I-shift with the Volvo motor.

She isn't good in cooking, cleaning, phucking or beet digging, any toys she need almost twice expensive comparing to other brands.
With my first volvo Iwas thinking I have just bad luck. With my second I know why people call them VULVA.
