RE: Helping Waterloo out with an inframe ... - 74bassman - 05-11-2018 Lol, i know i got my ac done. Beer time RE: Helping Waterloo out with an inframe ... - Waterloo - 05-11-2018 Here is my reman turbo... Pretty sweet. Mr Hagg says he is one of the best turbo rebuilders around. His turnaround was two business days. I don’t know what or how he does this, I guess that is why they call him the “Turbo Man”! Truly beautiful work, I hate to install it on the truck! Would look great on my coffee table! RE: Helping Waterloo out with an inframe ... - tree98 - 05-11-2018 Wow, that's impressive. I would like to know exactly what he does inside the turbo. And also who is this guy? What's his background? RE: Helping Waterloo out with an inframe ... - dhirocz - 05-11-2018 Got my old one over there. If I can ever get that way I could pick it up...it's my spare and is already done. I plan on swapping that one on while mine is apart and putting that one on...holding on to my reman as the backup. That thing gives me a chunk of wood. You can tell he cares about his work! I prefer to only deal with people who prove by demonstration and customer feedback that they care and are passionate about what they do! At that price, you could buy a used one and have it completely rebuilt and still be ahead over a cummins reman...and no core to boot! I was thinking the same thing. Change it every 300,000 for cheap insurance. RE: Helping Waterloo out with an inframe ... - Waterloo - 05-11-2018 Chunk of wood, I broke my zipper when I saw it, so I can relate to that comment. No clue what he does, but he is the Master at the Atlanta Speedway. Definitely a work of art. ;-) RE: Helping Waterloo out with an inframe ... - Waterloo - 05-12-2018 (05-11-2018 )BobsYourUncle Wrote:(05-11-2018 )Waterloo Wrote: Here is my reman turbo... Yes, this is beyond anything I have ever seen, it is that good. I looked all over this baby, and there is not one flaw that I can see, anywhere. Perfection at its best. This is the work of an old Cuban with a true passion for doing things right. And that statement was from Mr Hagg’s wife. The craftsmanship is beyond reproach, and his warranty is no questions asked. We have found turbo nirvana. ;-) RE: Helping Waterloo out with an inframe ... - dhirocz - 05-12-2018 (05-11-2018 )tree98 Wrote:Quote:At that price, you could buy a used one and have it completely rebuilt and still be ahead over a cummins reman...and no core to boot! I try to keep a few parts lying around just in case. I did the same thing with my compressor and a few others...rotate out as needed. I'm building my own little bench stock of spares! Wheel seals, new slacks, shoes, drums, air bags, etc... Waterloo, is that paint or a coating on the exhaust side? It looks great, whatever it is...it looks alot like some coatings I've used on exhaust manifolds in the past. |
