How many miles it had before rebuild?
Was the head replaced with BRAND NEW GENUINE head? NO?

then you need to run a gear down, .. or invest in re-grar the rear ends so that it runs the right speeds down the roadways.
trucks geared too tall can't get out of their own way when loaded heavy, and feel sluggish all the time.
