I can add to this discussion. On my 2010 T660 there is an OEM sensor ($164) and a dirt cheap aftermarket sensor ($16) The price difference is stupid. But the compatibility guarantee is also just as stupid. This is a case of you vet what you pay for. The OEM sensor is guaranteed to be compatible and will work. Where as the aftermarket will give you more than $150 worth of scratching your head as to why the alarm is going off randomly. Spend the $$ to know the sensor is recognized by the CECU.
