Thanks for the info, i found the 609 loctite at the Pete dealership, i thought they dont have it because when i ordered it they sent the regular red stuff, parts guy had just assumed thats what i wanted...

Is the wedge supposed to fit in with crank pinned before removing cam gear and rockers? The cam isn't at the right spot to put the wedge in...is this right or did I do something wrong?

Pull the crank pin back out and turn the engine 360 degrees then the cam wedge will fit. If you look you will see the flat edge on the cam is on the inside. Turning the crankshaft 1 full turn and pinning it again will put that flat spot on the outside and the wedge will fit.
