RE: CM871 fuel pressure delivery - tree98 - 01-14-2022 You have changed your fuel filter lately right?? RE: CM871 fuel pressure delivery - Skinny6 - 01-15-2022 Yup sure have it's the first thing I did when this problem started RE: CM871 fuel pressure delivery - alamow - 01-15-2022 Try checking the fuel pickup lines to the fuel tanks for leaks. Add a clear line to the suction side of the elctric pump or filter and check for air bubbles. RE: CM871 fuel pressure delivery - LRT1549 - 01-26-2022 Something that is all to often overlooked by good and bad mechanics. This can cause exactly this problem.. You said this is a 2009 so that means it has many many years and many gallons of fuel going through those rubber fuel lines. These lines can look and feel just fine from the outside while inside they as spongy and weak and can actually be collapsed just by the suction of the fuel pump... It's a good practice to replace all fuel lines and tank breathers after 500K Second I have had a truck do this very thing as well Literally ran perfect when the owner pulled it into the shop but then would not start on its own, ran like crap when we started it with either and when we shut it off and immediately tried to restart, it wouldn't start. Come to find out that there was a hairline crack in the IFSM on it's back side. |
