Need to air those tires? - Waterloo - 03-23-2016

Need to air those tires? Get one of these, no more kneeling in piss! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005NMCEYU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00

My tool set comes with only the most popular sizes of deep wells, so I combined them on one socket rail. This chart is good for finding the perfect fitting socket on that stubborn bolt/nut. Or, this free Android App can do same + more https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.turtlerockstudios.garagebuddy.free

I thought I would like it, but you have to hold the lever down....
I have this locking one and it works great unattended while fueling

Use a velcro strap or rubber band... ;-)

Problem I have with most socket organizers is they dont have enough spaces for a COMPLETE SET of tools...like missing a 1/2" drive 10mm space. The socket rails work, but I am wondering if someone has a better idea. I have considered making a plastic case that has a spot for everything, but those seem very difficult to make in the home garage. Would be easy with clay, then bake...but too heavy. Maybe wrap sockets in plastic wrap, apply a wax to the plastic so it wont bond to...say fiberglass.

If you think you have a good idea, or a way to improve one of the existing ideas please share.

For Wrenches I like the wrench organizers, or a piece of solid copper house wiring in a circle like a key chain.

Ideally, I would only have sockets that fit the bolts and nuts in my truck and trailer, a combo rail of SAE & Metric, but who knows every socket size needed...unless they have years of mechanic experience and truly the master.

Husky from home Depot. Served me almost 10 years now.

Ratcheting wrenches organized to go.

I carry a Dremel with an extension cord with me all the time. I've got milling bits from a cnc machine that fit in there. Boy do they come in handy sometimes and very fun to play with. The drill is kinda limited but the DreMel will do a Ton of sanding or grinding or cutting crap off. Highly recommended

Liquid electric tape is a must have, especially if you drive in the north. The heat shrink dosen't last.
