RE: Small CPL big power - PuroCumminsPower - 03-02-2017 I came across this video awhile back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OT8Eh7BBqOQ RE: Small CPL big power - Joesixpack - 03-02-2017 LOL yeah I'm going to need to see a video of a class 8 truck smoking the tires at 70mph. RE: Small CPL big power - in2trux - 03-02-2017 No different than breaking traction with half the horsepower on wet pavement. RE: Small CPL big power - Unilevers - 03-02-2017 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqUJFu_4gM8 go detroits! dyno wouldnt hold it at past 900 to the wheels and it broke the dyno.... it was spinning the tires on the rollers. 2700rpm 900+whp with a stock vgt! I have no Dyno numbers for my truck, it runs real good though. I know it won't smoke the tires at 70. It will leave 4 light black streaks down the road if I get after it hard in the high side. This isn't an everyday work truck either. RE: Small CPL big power - Unilevers - 03-02-2017 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fccSA1mvxuw here is a 8518 cpl 870 that did 750ish (poster of the video sucks) and just north of 2500 ftlbs to the ground. doesnt seem like much until you see the truck shift as it unloads at the end of the pull. that thing pulled scary good RE: Small CPL big power - Unilevers - 03-02-2017 stock cat with some tuning dyno sheet. not a ton of HP but just shy of 2800 ftlbs to the ground. loootsa boost! RE: Small CPL big power - Rig Wrench - 03-02-2017 Did just a tad over 800 wheel hp at a certain Dyno day in PA couple years back. Still didn't do burnouts. I'd say my 871 is very close after soo much seat time. But I won't say for sure until the Dyno proves it |
