A boroscope and bottom end inspection will reveal anything wrong internally. Take it apart just to look and it might be a HUGE waste of moneys. Sure, there is a chance that it may need to be rebuilt due to internal damage,. ... but never make blind-man assumptions like that.


and if the head has to come off it.. then it will need a full inframe simply due to disturbing everything. Here is how it should be done.. no less... and good luck finding someone willing to do it 100% right.. because most mechanics are nothing but speed-gun happy hacks!.

Thanks I’ll call them tomorrow and have them do that first. Is any blow by ok? It was spitting out some oil nothing crazy. No smoke
