So I ordered the cable for my laptop from the URL in the comments and it finally showed up. But it's the wrong one. What's the correct plug or wording for it?

The cable at the top center of the pic is called the "weather-pack" cable, and is preferred vs the one that plugs in under the dash (top right in the pic), though the one that plugs under the dash usually works well too.
take a pic or 2 of what was sent and post em here so we can see what you ended up with.

That's an obd2 plug mostly used on cars.

if you ordered right from waterloos link and did not receive everything in the picture than you either ordered something else or the seller sent you the wrong item. go through ebay's return system and return it to seller for full refund.
if you ordered correctly and received the wrong stuff is why when i shop i try my best to make sure the site im purchasing from has a return system and I use paypal to pay for stuff as that gives me a second way to dispute a purchase.
