Turbo Speed Sensor Code #687 - Stoneman - 07-16-2025 Thank you for letting me join the forum i appreciate it. Im looking for advice and input on what could continually trigger the turbo speed code. the engine is bone stock 565/1850 X15, Date of MFG. 8/20. 496,000 miles. Had it to the dealorship and they changed Turbo Speed Sensor, Turbo and Actuator, Egr valve, intake pressure sensor, charge air cooler. Im going broke with the shop just throwing parts at it, any good advice? RE: Turbo Speed Sensor Code #687 - marek4792 - 07-16-2025 Did you replace the exhaust pressure sensor with oem and clean the passage and tube coming out of the thermostat housing to exhaust manifold? How about the EGR Delta P sensor and its passages? Is the speed sensor circuit testing good, is it oem? These things should've been checked before blindly firing the parts cannon. Look up EGR TUNEUP on here and do it yearly. RE: Turbo Speed Sensor Code #687 - Rawze - 07-17-2025 (07-16-2025 )Stoneman Wrote: Thank you for letting me join the forum i appreciate it. Taking your truck to the OEM stealers$its of over-priced idiots is the most costly waste of time and moneys that you someone do. it will run them out of business fast!. Like other have said.. if it is not de-mandated (not deleted) then START BY doing a proper EGR tune-up on that engine. - It should be done once a year!. info: https://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=7&pid=9#pid9 RE: Turbo Speed Sensor Code #687 - Stoneman - 07-17-2025 (07-17-2025 )Rawze Wrote:(07-16-2025 )Stoneman Wrote: Thank you for letting me join the forum i appreciate it. We tested the circuit and found all 3 wires were rubbed through in the loom right below the connector. We made a temporary pig tail with oem plugs on it and ordered a new harness. Thanks again!
