Anyone ever have a lower idler gear seize up and lock the engine up? I've had 1 do it about a year ago. Motor only had around 350k on it. Now I believe I've had a 2nd do it. Engine has 350k on it. Oil looks like it was cooked in the bolt holes of shaft on the oiling spindle.

Pull the high pressure fuel pump head off and inspect its guts. If it looks like hamburger meat.. then you got much bigger problems than an idler gear.
