SPN 3360 FMI 9 and SPN 3216 FMI 9 - MattN - 09-28-2025

2012 Cascadia with a CM 2250. Getting these two codes (almost always together) sporadically. Sometimes can go several days with nothing, then codes will pop up for several days in a row. Normally just getting MIL light, but lately have been getting actual check engine with a torque derate on and off along with the codes. Truck has a little over 1 mil miles, around 400,000 since inframe. DPF and DOC cleaned within last few months. I'm thinking it's a short/wiring issue, but just not sure where to start on it. Any ideas??[/size]

SPN 3360 FMI 9 = cummins fault 3597? - Def controller intermittent connection?.

3216 FMI 9 = cummins fault 3597? - NOx1 sensor intermittent?.

sounds to me like a corroded plug or rubbed wire under the truck somewhere.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Guess it's just gonna be an Easter Egg hunt. Fun, fun. Wonder how many miles of wiring are in these things? lol
