He551 in place of he451 holset turbos - Nerv - 10-08-2025
Recently got my hands on a new genuine he551 holset for cheap vgt included(i believe these were used on older isx’s?), Im wanting to replace my aging he451 on my 2013 isx, i understand my mapping needs to be changed along with a adapter plate for the exhaust manifold, my questions are is this worth doing, and is it possible without any additional issues? Thanks!

I'd say if you do change the turbo, get the correct manifold center section to match it and have someone recommended on here remap it. Ideally though, better and cheaper to keep the original replacement on there.

you will also loose about 1+ mpg as well.
