Newly demandated - Emberlegion - 11-17-2025 I have a mechanic doing the mechanical items necessary to demandate. He told me he can do his own tune, but after reading your forum I know not to trust him. What kind of info do you need to send me a good tune file? Is it as easy as just running your file or is there excessive fine tuning once installed? I don't need any extra power(ruin engine life), I just want it to run as efficiently and smoothly as possible without the dpf/scr/egr. Thx in advance for your help or input RE: Newly demandated - APC - 11-17-2025 (11-17-2025 )Emberlegion Wrote: assuming that you live in a place where it is legal to do the things you mentioned... the tuning process is a one time thing, not much fine tuning needs to be done once a proper demandated file is installed in the ECM. the tools required to read/write the file to the ECM is a laptop with windows on it, and a datalink adapter such as a NEXIQ USB Link or a Cummins INLINE adapter.
