cm 870 six Delta p sensor - Radu1983 - 03-01-2016

Goo day gents,
i have an active code for the delta p sensor(411) and my ear is electrical turned off. that code affects my fuel mileage anybody know on how to fix that maybe bypass the sensor anything. Thank you

You cant really bypass the delta p (Cummins calls it differential pressure sensor). If you have an issue with it try to pull the tubes off and clean them out with carb (not brake) cleaner......or just replace. Better yet you can just kill the government mandate and let it hang.

problem is i don't really know its location. let it hang?? explain i really don't give a flying f%^& about the mandate

On the 870 it hangs just above the starter. Look for the tubes (like big brake lines) going into the exhaust gas tube. Those little tubes will lead you to the differential pressure sensor (delta p). What I meant by killing the government mandate is de$ete the EGR "if your using the truck off road".

I have the same code as you pid411 "value too high" and/or "electrical" and I was wondering if it is also effecting boost even if the mandate blocked off?

if the mandate is properly removed, then no - that code will disappear and not effect anything.
