Suprise suprise, a Prostar with a data link issue...
intermittently engine light and buzzer come on. code says ecm j1939 lost connection between ecm and another component.
right side of cluster and switches dies. cannot turn on or off interior cab light, if it's on I can't turn off even if I shut off truck. Jake fluctuates and sometimes doesn't work while code on.
Anyone Play this game? know what controls those gauges and switches?

I would start by checking the connections at the body controller.

Yup, played that game before with someone. The number one cause.... Water dripping into the gauge cluster from the dome leaking, and/or from condensation on the inside of it. Over time, the circuit board gets a short in it.
