Brake shoes & Drums on the drives - t700 - 03-03-2016

Have approx 550k on shoes.
Shoes are getting close.
What are a good brand of shoes and availability that will not break the bank &
would you change the drums?

Thanks
T700

I'm trying out MBS shoes from Marathon. So far the last 24 hours they have been seating in nice with the drums.

By premium balanced drums. Some people call them counter balanced.

Don't buy the cheap brake drums in the big baskets by the door when you enter the truck parts store. Those cheap ass drums look good on price but are not balanced and last like they should.

If you want them to last another 550k, do the cam bushings too.
