Is this pump similar to the exploding ones on the 2250 and 2350? Or is this another new lousy design?

Its actually about 5,000 X12 and X15 engines in total.

...why am I not surprised?
I wonder what damage occurs during this failure, other than the pump itself?
This is why I fixed mine, rather than cashing my chips and buying new. When you buy the first year or two of something like this, you become the guinea pig.
