Cleaning using toothpaste, very effective.

Wet Sand with 1200 grit then spray with clear coat and you won't have to clean them for 3 years. They will look brand new.

Don't use cheap clear coat in rattle can from auto parts store. It will yellow in short time. The good one (two parts formula) you can buy from professional auto paint supply store or amazon.
After clear coat drys hard wet sanding 3000 - 4000
The finish step is hand polishing with red lipstick for exceptional luster.
