Oil change time for new to me truck - Skman - 12-18-2017 I'm going to doing my first oil change since buying this truck (13 w900 with ISX de-leted). I've read on here that the engine likes high zinc oil so I was going to use Rotella T4 and was thinking about adding some of this for an extra bump: https://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/motor-oil/gasoline/break-in-oil-(sae-30)/?code=BRKQT-EA Good idea or no? Read it and decide for yourself, but there seems to be no discernible downside to this approach. I went with Sta-Lube because NAPA can get it, and they're close to me. As a side note- If you have any sort of oil leaking from the head, you will smell gear oil from time to time!
