Many people having a bad day.
Someone once joked, "Life is what happens while you're making plans".
I once had a little olde lady ask me upon coming into her room at O'Dark-thirty. "Are you the angel of the Lord come to take me away????". No, I replied, I'm Bob the RN come to take your vital signs.
She looked rather disappointed.
My worst day as an RN was better than my best day as a cop.......
