Fuel gauge problem - Crafter - 04-08-2016

So my fuel gauge has been acting up lately.

The other day, during a forced regen the gauge went from half full to empty, ding ding ding sound.. I freaked out, used my measuring stick to make sure I had fuel. Tanks were half full.

Now it's working but it goes on and off from time to time. Any suggestions? I also think it's off by 1/8. It always showing more than it actually is.

What should I change or can I clean something?

First thing I would do is clean the connection at the sending unit and the plug make sure you have a good connection.....
